Have you tried putting it in the oven?

Give it an hour at 180 degrees, lift it out with welding gloves on. If it doesn't come apart all by itself as soon as you pick it up, give the end of the crank a tap with a deadblow hammer.

thanks stinkwheel only if my oven was bigger!

Would oil seals get wrecked doing that? I know the engine runs at fairly high temps when in use however.

Just thought of making a length of bar with slotted holes, some m6 rods and nuts, m12 rod with threaded hole on the bar or a nut welded to the bar.

I always make them from plate and bolts. Bent a nice piece of gauge plate pulling the rotor off a R125.
