Quick video of my GT125R 'Lucky Strike' rep running the new custom GP exhaust system.
Had a few minor issues to fix before she's on the road again.
Exhaust doesn't fully fit well on the left, system will be sent back and modified again.
Also getting a slight misfire on cylinder 1 when idling, seems to go away once warm, possibly plug problem.
The it's MOT time Smile

Paint is HOK ICE Pearl onto of a candy White base to give it a nice flake!

Sounds amazing for such a small bike, this video is u edited, I haven't tweaked the sound etc...

mate, you are going to cum in your pants when you finally (finally.......) get a 600, spend the money on your test and a 600 instead of that, it's lost money

Video was filmed on an iPhone 3GS, a black one, it's standard, vid quality is shit but not much I can do about that.
I mentioned that I didn't tweak the sound, alot of exhaust videos have the sound tweeked to make them sound bassier etc... The exhaust on the bike is very deep and loud and hard to believe it's a 125 from the sound, so was just confirming it hasnt been tweaked etc...

Wow a 600... Or even a 1000!

Ridden both size bikes, funnily enough the only difference I noticed around town was the 600 and 1000 cost alot more to run than my 125.

I'm not scared of passing my test or riding a bigger bike, I'm just happy with the bike I have. It's cheap and quick enough for around town, which is where I ride the bike 90% of the time.

Other than going fast, what am I missing out on that's so important?

Jesus, you were revving it to what, 3k and it sounded ridiculous. Not in a nice way but in a loud, obnoxious, shit way. There's only one thing I fucking hate more than scooters with aftermarket cans on....and that's 125's with aftermarket cans on.

They all sound fucking wank.

It has baffles Wink
And the noise out of this bike isnt too bad, with it being a twin you get a change in pitch while you ride, unlike single's that Jay hav the same noise all the waythrough the revs. I won't be riding it with baffle out much!

For the money you've spent...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jlM60zD36w

I'm all for modding your bike but agree with the ones that say spending on a 125 is a bit of a waste

Every topic ends up the same on here.

Im happy... Its my money... is my license... its my life... its my bike.

I like it how it is, if you spend your entire life saying... you could have got this, you could have done this, you should have done that... then you never get anywhere or buy anything.

One day i will probably pass my test and get a bigger bike, im just not wanting to do it yet, just because a forum full of people moan at me every time i post something, it isnt going to make anything change.

Unless someone wants to give me a bigger bike, pay the insurance costs and pay for my DAS?

Not a bad sound to be honest.
Could do with being clearer, but using an iPhone isnt helping.
All in all it looks like a nice 125, and when you do sell it on, yes you'll make a loss, but you will make some 17 year old fucker well happy Thumbs Up

Again, you are throwing money away at a 125, but I can see what satisfaction it gives you, I'd do the same...but on a bigger bike.
Once you pass your test and move on to a big'un do the same with that! Full spray job, custom decals... I reckon it would look top dollar

Thumbs Up

Funny thing is paddy... i can take my paintjob and sticker with me if i buy the GT650R, and i can pop the 650 fairing onto the 125.

Same with the levers and a few other mods, they fit the 650 too Wink

Thats the plan once i get on the road again, get my CBT done (which i have to do either way) and move into my new house and then save some cash up.

So its the inevitable path that i will take, just cant do it right this min as i dont have the funds at the moment.

I think it sounds quite nice tbh. And even if the OP does get a bigger bike doesn't mean its going to sound nicer.

You can get 600's and 1000's that sound shit!

Another thing is if you know how people react on here why keep posting in different sections? Keep to the big thread you had so that those that are interested can keep watching and those that are moaning can say their bit and move on instead of repeating the same in all your threads.

Like I said I do like it but... Thumbs Up

Was trying to keep it in correct sections. I listed a bike vid in the bike videos section and the bike photos in this thread.

It's the same posters posting the same replies that are the problem lol.

That is a fair point Thumbs Up Still probably doesn't mean its "worth it" but I do think that is a good reason to do it. Especially if you want to upgrade to a dull twin Wink Mr. Green

Probably not worth it, but the bike needed a paintjob, and my boss was paying lol.
So why not pick fancy paint Smile only thing I've lost out on is the exhaust system. But that isn't the end of the world. The bike isn't really that modified, just tweaked and well looked after

Gave it an oil and plug change this weekend so has some fresh Castrol R4 in her now Smile
