I'll be fitting belly pan, blueflame evo can, rear hugger,HEL brake lines,K&N air filter and a new undertray to my Bandit.
I'm wondering if this counts as mods (I assume it does) and at what point do you inform the insurance? Is a rear hugger alone enough or does it need to be performance enhancing mods?
Can I expect a hit on my premium or do they just like to be kept informed (yeah right,I may be dreaming) ?

Everything that is not standard, as new from the factory should be told, as we all know having rim tape makes a bike faster and more likely to be stolen.

led bulbs, stickers, rim tape, back box, twin headlights etc etc

I phoned my insurers (Swinton, underwritten by Aviva) to tell them about my Motad can, Renthal bars (and bar furniture), seat cowl, etc. and they weren't interested unless they were performance enhancing.

I'd say phone them, so it's on record, but don't be too surprised if they're not bothered.

I assume that the exhaust and bars are actually cheaper to replace than the stock items from Suzuki anyway.

Same story here with the GPZ and the Bandit, using Bennetts and with MCE
