jheeze had my 3rd test yesterday and failed once again.

its annoying because im not failing on the same the thing its diffrent things every time, first was going to slow (i was like really?????), 2nd was in the wrong lane for a roundabout and yesterday was observations. but the thing is ok i mess up on tests thats the kinda person i am but the examinors are very rude towards me, i go to the Iriff (cant spell it) in Kent and they are never kind just grumpy fucks,

but anyway ive rebooked another test in Basildon hopefully i can get it this time

Keep trying and don't be put off. Good that you've rebooked at a different centre - this was the first thing I was going to recommend.

Don't give up. It may be a series of expensive mistakes, but at the end of it you'll be saying "it's cost me X amount, but I've got my licence!" Instead of "F*ck, it's cost me £xxx and I've got nowt to show for it!"

You'll get it!

This. Dont give up or you have just pissed that money down the drain. It took me three attempts to pass mod 2 and I was doing DAS so I had the added expense of big bike hire and instructor hire. In total I threw about £850 at passing my bike test. Was it worth it? The wifey would probably say no but I would say yes. I dont have to take another test and I am now riding a bike that as a kid I could only dream about.

Keep going and good luck for round 4.

One thing I discovered that really helped me was doing a running commentry as I was riding e.g. roundabout coming up, is it clear? check mirrors, lifesaver, move, indicate, lifesaver move, cancel indicator etc. It helped keep me calm, and helped me with eliminating hesitation. Basically, it's as though you are instructing yourself.

If you've ever done an adanced driving course, then it's the same sort of thing.

Keep at it, I'm sure you'll be successful, and believe me, it's really really worth it.

There's one guy at Erith with a real attitude problem - they other two seem to be okay though.

I did my Mod 1 (passed 3rd time) and 2 there, going back to do Accelerated Access later this month.

Was your instructor riding the K1300GT?

Back wheen I did it it was just the original one test on road, did at folkestone driving test centre, passed third time. There wasn't much choice then, Folkestone, gillingham or london were the only options. Gillingham being fully booked all the time from people getting out of london to do their test.

Then get his name and complain about him to the test centre and the DSA. If you don't, who will?

Perhaps his fellow examiners hate his guts too, you might be doing them a favour.

The other two instructors there are great IMO, both pleasant on mod 1 and 2. I heard the guy with the attitude problem is on temporary reassignment as his test centre in Kent is under subscribed.

Ahhh de-ja-vu! I had the same carry on passing mine, passed on the 4th attempt, so just keep going, although I know how disheartening it is!
