Good afternoon all.

I am trying to replace the battery of a GS500 and would like some help.

Is there anyone out there who knows which battery i should be replacing it with? I haven't got the bike with me at the moment, so am unable to check what it currently has. A google search turns up nothing useful, but gives a whole range of different batteries.

Also, what is involved in changing the battery? Is it as simple as putting it in and connecting it up?

Thanks for all the help people. Much love. Very Happy

I bought and used a Yuasa YB10L-B2 on my GS500's

Its as simple as removing the seat, unbolting the current battery and bolting new one in. Might need to charge it before hand, the shop I bought mine from charged it for you for £2 extra Laughing Spent overnight on charge and pickup next day.

Excellent, thanks Paddy.

Looks like i'll order one of those, and then get my local shop to charge it if i need to.

Very Happy
