Was just looking at their site and it looks like they're doing 2k off all their bikes (some are excluded otherwise you could get a scooter for free )

nahhh thats ok fella, no offence taken, its a marmite brand
But, the Tornado's have been about for a few years now, they dipped down to the low £2000 region. Now the prices are holding, nad are going up again. Bikes are going for £3500-£4500 and I don't think they will really drop that much lower (might get a problematic dog for under £3k, but i'd stay well clear).
Both bikes have been about for a fair while now, most have had the inital early problems sorted, or covered under warantee (dont ask about Trek frames though ).
The TNT is still selling in bundles, so prices for these will eventually drop, but unlike say buying a brand new R1 for £13k, then it being worth £9k straight away, your starting off with a bike that costs £7k, and its still worth £6k as you walk away. Values are much less to buy to start with so the money lost is far far less. And, theres a good chance, that you can still take £5k for it, 4-5 years later.
Much better than loosing half the value of an R1 in this timeframe. |

I paid £3600 for mine 3 years ago.
120bhp (@ Wheels), stunninng styling, fantastic engine noise, decent spread of power/torque.
Not much around 2002 looks visually as good, but thats obviously biased on my side
TNT is great fun to ride, but its ruined by too many editions, with the most basic of changes. Great bikes though, good change from a Tuono, or a Brutale. |
