My gloves smell :(

My gloves are really smelly! I love them, they're everything I could want in a pair of gloves, however they're winter waterproof gloves so they have no air vents, meaning they get really smelly. I'm fed up of taking my gloves off after a long ride and my hands absolutely stink, even after I wash them with soap. They're RST Tractechs if anyone is wondering.

Any ways of sorting this? Or do I just need to see the doc for a dose of MTFU?

1) Trachtechs are more of a summer glove. At least mine are!
2) I had this problem with my other gloves. I just used some oust in them and then sprayed a fuck load of febreze in there. Solved the problem.

Make sure you wash your hands before putting them in your gloves

I have RST Tractech Winter WP gloves and they f***ing stink! I tried air freshener and the ol' freezer trick but it doesn't help lol I've put them away until the winter months in hope it won't be as bad. Maybe its something in the lining?

Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Swish it around, empty out, dry them out.

I had this problem and solved it by buying some "summer" gloves from HG for about £30.

The only downside: when I ride out at ~8PM and come back at midnight, I need to wear the light gloves out and take the winter gloves for the right back. But that's better than smelling of sweat all night.

Same gloves, same problem. Bit of washing powder/gel rinse under hot tap swish your hand around in them with tap running. Followed by a little squoosh of fabreeze every week worked for me.

Other than that you need to get a prescription of MTFU.

Just put them in the freezer over night. It worked a treat for me, it kills all the bacteria that make the smell.

Fill them with cress seeds and a tiny bit of water, will give off a lovely organic smell soon enough

Get new gloves. Wash hands or use anti-bacterial gel before every time you wear them. Problem solved.
