Do they have poppers/velcro on the back of the pads?

I would have thought they would. Even on cheap helmets the cheek pads are usually removable. My AGV TiTech had a completely removal lining. Whilst they're out, give them a wash. (If that wasn't the reason you yanked them out in the first place)

Hmmmmm possibly, what I suggest is:

1. Get hold of an old stone ashtrays (the big ones).
2. Silicon the visor to the helmet so it stays shut and is watertight.
3. Place upside down on said ashtray.
4. Fill with Water.
5. Add 2 gold fish.

Voila, 170 notes now not so wasted Thumbs Up

If not then there were likely glued in place, i'd just glue them back.

I don't think using glue is a great idea.

Some glues produce a lot of solvent vapours. If you ever try pouring random solvents onto polystyrene it dissolves and shrivels into a sticky mess just from the vapours (Xylene is a good example).

If you glued it it could do the same thing to the inside of your helmet, I am not going to even try suggesting a glue as I don't want your death on my hands if I get it wrong and it all goes pear shaped.

There are normally poppers or velcro that hold the pads in place inside the helmet. I have an AGV GP tech and there are poppers inside of the lid for the cheek pads and the neck roll etc folds into gaps in the outer shell. MY HJC lid is the same.

Also, they sell the cheek pads for your lid separately so it does rather suggest they are removable and the listing posted above describes them as removable.

It might be the 5:00 am start, but wtf was the point in this post !?

You pull something off your lid and automatically post on here to see if you have broken it ?

You get a few nice chaps trying to help, who you seem to ignore.

Then to finish it off, you say "but i think i should prob just replace it, as my bike got written off by my neighbour and ive decided to buy a new car the now" ? Rolling Eyes

I've got the same helmet, they are supposed to come out and fix back in. Did you not read through the book that came with the helmet at any point?

It was likely low strength glue, the type that stays like a sticky gel just to hold it in place. The only forces it's ever likely to expirence will be ones pushing it into place rather than twisting it or trying to pull it out.
Low temp glue gun might work, but then so might PVA glue, or 2 part type glues, they're usually pretty kind to things.
