First off, quality test @ 1080p, 30fps:

Cut down about 80 minutes of footage into 2 parts, nothing exciting apart from many gorgeous views of the landscape which is the main reason I got the camera.

Angle is slightly wonky due to velcro not co-operating. When I got home I realised there was a dead fly in it also which probably didn't help Sick ~80 minutes of footage used about 6.84GB of space on the memory card. Loving the camera so far although the velcro mount isn't great. Will try out 720p @ 30fps next time to see how the increased fish eye (170 degrees as opposed to 127 @ 1080p) affects the video.

I just bought one of these cameras earlier in the week after checking the forums, and reading peoples opinions, as I didn't think I'd be able to line up a GoPro or get on with it, and the preview screen on this is very helpful.

I like the camera. I was a bit miffed it was in .mov file, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

I haven't used the helmet mount yet, how do you get on with it, are you worried about losing camera?

I have tried suction mount and handlebar mount. Suction mount makes me nervous, though provides the best footage so far.

I had problems exporting the 1080p footage, exporting it in 720p worked out ok though, 1080p is a bit over kill really anyway.

Helmet mount is good but not solid, as you ride along the velcro unhooks slightly and messes the angle up, but like I said, there was a fly stuck in mine, could of been that. I don't trust it, so I got a Nintendo Wii remote strap thing attached to the mount (which screws into camera) and then the loop goes through my helmet strap so all secure if it does fall.

Just got a suction cup mount through the post today, only paid a fiver for it as opposed to £30 for the official Drift one. Mainly got it for the car as the bike doesn't have much fairings to attach it to :p It would attach to the rear fender perfectly though I imagine, and possible the front headlight surround part.

I just looked at the universal mount, it has two small square holes, I guess you mean that's where you tied the wii strap through?

I'll rig up something along those lines on whatever helmet I use. Probably an old open face one, as I can't see me wanting to ride much about 60 with a camera on the side of my head.

I had it on the helmet mount part that you stick the velcro to, but your idea makes much more sense Doh! Moved it to that mount now. One thing I really need now is a case, got lots of mounts to carry about. Might try and be fancy and attach it to the rear of the bike, exhaust should sound really nice and shouldn't be much wind noise.

tried mine with the waterproof bag today, worked well enough, hard to remove from bag though.

I tied a lanyard round my fairing and to the suction mount, but the mount held fine

Meant to be decently waterproof standard, even if you dropped it in water it'd be fine, just not meant to be used under water for long period. I tried out the suction mount as well (well, my cheap ebay one) and it's great so far, pretty much can mount these cameras anywhere you want.
