Goes by each year and I haven't watched them yet... I can't imagine watching them being all that exciting. As you could be waiting for an hour to see them for less than a minute. Prefer watching it on the TV Thumbs Up

Well I went and watched at the finish point of the stage (Sandringham).
I won't post any spoilers just in case anyone is going to watch the highlight program tonight.
I only got to see about 1.5sec of actual cycling anyway so wouldn't be in a great position to provide an in depth review.

You see very little cycling but they put a fairly big do on at the finish line with a load of stands and displays, plus commentary and updates of the race. The atmosphere was good but in a bid to hype up the crowd it meant listening to Darude -Sandstorm on a 40minute loop with people banging on the barriers Smile

A couple of observations I made were that they are fast, really fuckin fast. You can't really tell this when watching on TV. They also have a ridiculous amount of support vehicles compared to the amount of riders.

Took a few photos
