Wasn't that planned for sometime in August?
I assumed that Tj was thinking of sometime sooner.

Because we are all quite well spead out, may be it would be a better idea to have two 'meets'. One in the south somewhere, and another in the midlands somewhere.
Then anyone who is eager enough could attend both!

yea, i was really up for the newquey thing but i dont think it would work now, its too far, so that 2 meet would be better, and maybe, a later big gathering, when we have bigger bikes and the trips made easier

Yorkshire.... middle of the country?
Geographically maybe, not demographically I would have thought... Not too bad for me on a zx6r but I wouldn't like to do it on a NSR.

Just a thought: how about going to a WSB/GP round or other race? Not sure where they are in the UK this year though. I went to the Dutch GP last year and it was good fun... there was a really good atmosphere with loads of stuff going on.
(only problem was the race was sponsered by Rizla {20-30 foot long adverts around the track} but was there anyone selling any kind of skins within 5 miles of the track? no... grrr)

Personally, I would love to go to one big bike meet this summer, I was kinda hopin Newquay was still on......
Anyway, whats this BMF thingy, isnt that for the golden oldies on their Goldstars etc?
I like the idea of meetin up at a race meeting, I'm sure I could get a few people to come with me BUT ... I still need a bloody headlight and can I find one secondhand.....noooo that would be too easy Mad
If I had a digital camera I would let you all laugh at my comedy headlight creation made from sellotape and thin A4 plastic covers!!! Very Happy

Kris,
Last weekend i was going through the 'breakers' in the back of the Biketrader. And by checking out a few of the websites that listed a breaking NSR, I did actually happen to come across a headlight up for sale.
Although i cant tell you which one it was, coz my list is at home in Reading.
