2000 YAMAHA YZF R6

I am selling my R6 as i want to get myself a track bike and a supermoto for next summer.

If you have a track bike or supermoto that you are selling please let me know, By saying this i am not asking for a thousand emails asking if i would like to swap for any old bike, I will be looking for a Wr450 or a Track prepared bike?



Ok Here's what the bike bike has got:

24'000 miles. Has had new clocks at some point, have got old millage on m.o.t's and new m.o.t's so it works out at roughly 24'000 miles 5'000 of which i have put on it!

The best thing about this bike is you will never have the worry of a false neutral or 2nd gear slipping like all other R6's I have replaced the original 5EB gearbox with the later (03-05) 5SL gearbox, the difference being, the 5SL gearbox has 4 squared of dogbone's and the 5EB Gearbox only has 3 dogbone with rounded edges causing false neutrals and gear's slipping, This was a costly and time consuming change. Probably the only R6 with it done!

I have had it dyno jetted (Dockside superbikes, Gloucester) i have the printout somewhere showing 100bhp

The carbs have also been balanced

Bike is in the desirable blue and white with black wheels! (added green rim tape)

Upgraded levers

Carbon fibre hugger (Real)

Seat cowl (I still have original)

Racefit exhaust (Retail at over £500)

Iridium screen

Tail tidy and intergrated indicators

Front flush indicators

Bike is fitted with Bridgestone 016 pro tyres (Front has done about 300miles Rear needs replacing but i will get a new one put on this week)

Gear indicator

Oil temp gauge

530 chain

Parts recently replaced are:

New fork seals

New rear wheel bearings

New Plugs

This bike has been looked after to a very high standard by myself with absolute not expense spared, If you are looking for a solid reliable bike with great looks and heaps of power then this is most probably thee best one on the market at present (in my eyes) it will be truly missed but i have since found the joy of a track day therefore im going to buy a track bike and maybe a supermoto for rides out on the road next year.

Viewing highly recommended, I will not be letting this bike go for silly money, I am in no rush to sell her!

There will be no test rides unless i have your proof of insurance and the full asking price oin my hand! basically if you break it you buy it. It sound harsh but i cant risk loosing out.
