hey guys,
bought a 70s yz80 with a 100cc yamaha 2 stroke in it for $150 yesterday, started it for the first time in 10 years today, runs like poop.

i believe the engine is out of a yamaha ls3... or thats what the engine is called.

i found an image of it which would help

only differnce i see is the clutch cable runs in the left hand side on mine.

i can take pictures or give more specs
any help or info would be bliss

In pic of bike you have shown; cable going into the Right hand crank-case cover will be the Auto-lube control cable, NOT the clutch cable; that will still be going to the left hand casing.... so if your engine doesn't have that cable, the auto-lube probably isn't functional, hence yes, you probably would have to run it on Petroil mix.
