Depends if you can break into the bike seat without causing any damage.

If not, you may be £50 lighter already.

I did this on the 4 there was enough flex in the seat to bend it and check get my keys. If you can't to that, I would try to take the under tray off or just get it loose. and get a coat hanger in to pull the catch.

Something long thin and metal that you can create a hook with, I've used really heavy gauge wire before...

It's hard to believe the hire company wouldn't keep a spare key for their bikes? I would! Personally I think they are being cheeky fuckers.

They do have spares, what he has done is made them some hassle... to go to him and open it etc. They'll charge for that...

In that case I'd get a lift up to the place (slightly red-faced & all innocent looking Embarassed ) & get the other key & say I'd drop it off later when I'd rescued mine.....accidents happen, just need them to be decent people

Might not work that way... when I got a hire car, they came from Staines... I'm in Maidstone in Kent, a good hour n a bit away to drop it off.

Hire vehicles...fantastic things Laughing

I completely agree.

I was gonna say, when I did the same on my PS125i, Fowlers literally dismantled the front of the scooter to get them out.

Glad you got it sorted. Panic over!

I meant that when they come and open the seat, he will have his wallet, nothing to do with his phone.
