It's a good program but has got a slagging over on Arrse, basically because its very diluted i.e. the troops getting easier treatment because of the cameras and making it out to look easier than it actually is etc and too much emphasis on crying parents (i.e keeping the cameras rolling) but very interesting overall, I prefer 'Sandhurst' over on BBC4 though, and 'Bomb Squad' that has recently been on.

From watching it, it did seem like it was watered down a bit from my experiences of basic training, and I was in the RAF!

Even in the TA was alot more 'character building' and 'indecenet terminology for ethnic minorities' as we called it thrown around but never got out of hand, show ain't bad but definitely think theyr'e getting preferential treatment with the cameras present.

What was that docu a while ago about bullying in the army? the undercover reporter got out of it by feigning girlfriends pregnancy or something.
