Hey guys. I was riding home tonight in the dark, first time for quite a while (YBR125) and my dipped beam is bloody useless lol. It seems like a glowworm is inside the headlight casing lol.

The main beam doesnt seem that good either. I only recently changed the bulbs (just stock bulbs), Any advice guys? Thanks alot Very Happy

Try a halogen 35/35w one instead - the Halfords one is very good:

https://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_263257_langId_-1_categoryId_165582

Used these on my YBR and they are a good improvement over the OEM krypton 'globe' type. They last ages as well (more than 10'000 miles in my experience) Also keep the headlamp lens clean - you'd be amazed at how a layer of dust/dirt can block so much light, especially on a low wattage one like this.

+1 above post Thumbs Up

I bought a pair of these (I had a bad deal on fleabay which lasted, ooh, minutes Sad ) and they're an improvement on the original bulbs. The beam pattern on these will be different, but let's face it, the headlight on a 125 is crap. IMO. I tend to ride dipped most of the time, I seem to see more road than with full beam Shocked

Also, don't put them in with your fingers either - use a cloth or something clean to hold them when you install them. Grease marks on the bulb don't do it any favours whne they heat up Exclamation

Indeed, give them a clean/wipe over with some meths before fitting them.
