Hi

Think the top speed exemption from moped rules still applies for pre 1977 50cc bikes but they must be fitted with pedals which they can be propelled with.

Don't think the exemption still applies for 9kW+ 125s made before the 125 learner law came in though,

Yes it is, aslong as you still have pedals fitted.

No-one will ever check though, I rode an ss50 5 speed with no pedals and an 88 kit, etc, at 16 with no issues...


...Apart from it going pop three times in 4,000 miles.

Yes, but only if painted in yellow Kenny Roberts Speedblock pattern and with a micron spanny and ace bars fitted.

Anything else would be criminal.
