Long story, I installed an alarm to my 2001 Honda nsr, when I came to attach the wires to the back of the ignition I found that the cover was missing and most of soldering to the points was at best very bad.

Anyway with no soldering iron to hand I installed the alarm as best as I could anyway 1 of the wires broke away from its point on the lock (green apparently the 1 that allows you to kill the engine) anyway the alarm worked fine and the bike started.

Then I came to attach the broken wire at a friends forgot to disconnect the battery and now I think I have blown a fuse because nothing at all happens when I turn the key.

The alarm also does nothing as I think it draws its power from one of the ignition points (not the best alarm but I can’t complain for the price I paid for it)

I removed the alarm from the bike and it also made no difference

Anyway of the wires on the back of the lock could have touched each other.

Please help me, any ideas? Where’s the fuse box?

I belive there is only one main fuse

you should find it near to the batterey, it should be in a little neat cover clear/white plastic, open the lid on it and check the fuse, Honda even placed a spare fuse in the lid of the cover Thumbs Up
