Have just fitted a MOTAD VENOM stainless steel rear can and link pipe to my bike - after seeing them on the bay of e for a smidgen under ninety quid I couldn't really resist! I spent ages getting it to line up right, wanted it to be perfect as it could be - also the centre stand rests on a bracket connected to the link pipe so that had to be pretty much spot on else the stand would either hit the road or rub on the chain. Started it up, sounded ok - removed end baffle and was slightly more pleased...... The I marked up the joins in the pipes and the exhaust clamps and removed the can to remove the baffle that i'd previously shoved into the end of the can. All back together and....hey presto! A very happy me! Sounds so much better than the standard pipe and I feel that my presence on the road to Mrs. Smith driving the school run with two kids in the back screaming at each other will have now increased. My question is......How likely is it that this is going to cause me grief with the old bill? How many of you guys have been pulled for exhausts not having the baffles in?

I haven't been pulled but I have also got a Motad Venom exhaust. I paid a nadge over £90 for mine a few months ago and it's still shining like new.

Excellent! I must admit, it's so much shinier than the standard can! I initially went for it because I wanted a can without a logo on - sounds strange I know, but I just wanted it to look shiny and obviously sound good! Glad you've not had any problems, hopefully the case will be the same for me.
