Basically had 2011 YBR(2700miles) but got totaled due to careless driver luckily i suffered no major injuries. Iv managed to reclaim some money from insurance. i have my theory test on the 6th... is it really worth buying another 125 or should i save the money and try to get the test out of the way. P.s. It all depends on what you want to do.

Do you want to get on a big bike fairly quickly, or are you happy to have a 125 (or anything with a power output below 33bhp) for 2 years while you save up for something bigger?

You can do your mod1/2 over a couple of mnths if you like.Helps spread the cost a little. And like what andy said do you want to stay on a 125cc or get a bigger cc bike. The choice is yours really...Although getting a license will be getting a bit harder in the future. So i would say if you can afford it do it now..All the best with whatever you choose though

First thing... you've got "some" money back from the insurers.

Has your case been settled and you've had your full payout? If so you should easily have enough to get a new bike, theory, mod1 and mod2 out of the way with money to spare Neutral

But.

You need the theory regardless, it lasts 2 years. Get the bike theory done and work your way towards a full licence...that is step 2. Step 1 was the CBT, so you are already half way there after the theory Thumbs Up
