Hi,

Bought my first bike in 1970 (50 CC) - went on to a Honda CB125J (£384-00) new. Went onto a Triumph trail Blazer (250CC) About to take the test when I got into some serious trouble with my girlfriend's dad so sold the bike for a car for the impending addition. Move on to 2011 - retired more money than sense, must find 10 things to do... ok Number 2 on the list, go back and get a full M/C license - off on a 7 day course, spent 2 grand on tuition and leathers etc, - bought a new SV650S on July 6th, passed Part 2 on 7th - Done some 2500 miles since. Loving it, Grandson miffed he's stuck on a hair dryer (we used to call them lawnmowers. Loved the ride on Sunday with hundreds of other bikers on the M27. That's me, hope to post from time to time. - Why sorebutt? mostly because I cycle around 100miles a week. What do I do - at the moment I'm occupied full time playing hide and seek with the grim reaper.

Are you talking BCF's very own Grim Reaper, who does indeed live not too far away from the M27??

Look up the SE Section, join and get yourself involved with some of the runs and meets and things... Thumbs Up

Welcome and congrats on getting the license! I skirted round the whole thing over twenty years ago and finally with grown up kids and having turned 40, I went off and got my license. Like you - am lovin' it
