Love the programme, would be better if Rogue Traders had their own show again though.

Is it sad that I loved that show? Feel like I'm getting old before my time Sad

Working for one of the largest plumbing and drainage companies in the UK, who are often slated for the ridiculous prices, I am laughing at this 'family run business' they've shown. Crazy!

Good program, what is the usual drill for finding a good company/person to do plumbing, building etc. work like this on a house?

I am still living at home so haven't had to sort things like that out yet.

Do you ask around and find a reliable genuine person? Or do you go for a big company that you could dispute a problem with if you felt you'd been over charged?

Word of mouth is generally the best I've found (from when my parents have needed someone).
