Jesus wept, you're going to need a 5 gallon bucket of lube come renewal.

I'm really sorry to hear it, but it sounds like you'd have been better off buying a cheaper ped, spending money on serious security, then not claiming on thefts.

Also: ball cancer on the scrotes that nicked the bikes. Ball cancer unto their 7th generation of bastard scrote-monkey kids.

Wow, that sucks dude.

I've always wanted to live in a big city, London or NYC... but the stories I hear of motorcycle theft rates in London make me think I'll not bother!!

Your renewal premium is going to be sky high Sad

So you're another one of the L-plated ped nutters I pass everyday on my way to and from work who think they're the bee's knees causing all sorts of havoc then huh Laughing

Seriously though sorry to hear you've had your ped nicked 2x. Not sure what part of London you're in but unfortunately that the risk of riding a ped or bike in any town. A few years ago my mates son got pushed off his ped at a traffic light and the scumbag and the scumbags mate jumped on, rode off and the bike was never seen again. Recently my mates bike was nicked from out of his front garden and that was chained up to another bike and bolted to the ground. He now has a tracker fitted to his other bike.

I've only got a YBR but as soon as I get home, unless I'm going straight back out, it's off the road and locked up.

If thieves want it they'll work out a way to take it no matter where you live/ride.

Let's hope they get what they deserve and you never have another stolen again.

Man, you take it well. Kudos for that mate.

The scrotes deserve stringing up by the bollocks for taking a mans wheels.

Welcome, come in and take a seat.

Harsh luck about the thieving scum.

Perhaps a new thought towards security.

Try a chain...............

Hey, thanks for the replies.

First time it was stolen, was taken from outside my house and had a mammoth chain on the front and back wheel... was gone in the morning.

second time round, I popped into a off license for some cigs and came out and basically had to walk home with me helmet, was gone for maybe 4 minutes, no i didnt leave it running nor did i leave keys, sterlock applied..

I live in north london where all the riots recently started so theres no suprise, it's cost me over £5000 in total for the initial bike plus excess's and administration fees which is kinda lame.

but what can you do apart from wishing death upon these youngsters but its kinda difficult when i'm one myself, I wouldn't dream of stealing someone else's property let alone even touching.

security now... have ground mounts bolted dwn by 8 inch industrial bolts going into a concrete floor then cement ontop of the heads, so i bolt both wheels to the floor... and has an alarm installed, costing me £120, all of that just so I could get to and from work, what a joke.

it's up for sale now though, its a nice little scoot but too bad you cant actually own the things you like in this day and age without having to look over your shoulder.

I always chain my scooter to something solid like a lamp post, if I can't I get my fags somewhere else, their just too easy to lift up & load into a van.
