Hey guys,

I recently picked up a '92 CD250U, and when I got picked it up, it was running strangely. Revving the bike whilst stationary is fine and smooth, but when I'm pottering along and accelerating the bike is always 'hesitating' and won't accelerate smoothly with a noticable lack of power. At first I thought it was the sparkies, because it felt like it was missing under acceleration.

I stripped and cleaned the carbs, balanced them, changed the sparkies, new oil...problem is still there, and I'm stumped.... Confused

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Matt

I'm new to biking but do know a bit about cars. A lack of power could suggest a sticking valve or maybe the timing could be out.

If that advice was totally useless I apologise in advance. Confused
