My anniversary yesterday so I had a 5 star hotel booked (classy eh?). Hopped on the mighty pulsar, gave it a kick and nothing kept trying for 20 mins including a few run and bumps, still nothing - assumed it was an electrical problem as the electrics have just about given up. Knackered from all the effort I grabbed an auto and left it.
Got back today and had a proper look in the light, tried to get under the seat / through the panels to the battery and then noticed a loose tube right next to the choke and the reserve switch, ooh a choke didn't know I had one of them! pulled it and it started first time, yay! tried giving it revs and it died, boo! I gave it another couple of goes and nothing. For no reason at all I switched to reserve and petrol spewed out of the loose tube... ahh it's the fuel line! plugged it back in and gave it another kick - yay we're in business.
Then I remembered a couple of nights ago someone moved my bike it's not that unusual their's loads of bikes in the building and sometimes people get blocked in. When I wheeled it back to its usual spot it smelt a little of petrol but I ignored it.
All this means though that someone's nicked the petrol out of the main tank. At least they left the reserve. Bastards! building security say they're gonna find em and give em a kicking - different rules out here! ____________________ current: ducati monster 750
