The throttle cable housing, where the cable screws into the housing by the handle bar, The plastic part it screws into is snapped in half Vertically, But i place the cable there and Taped it with electrical tape, and it's been fine for Months, not a problem, But would this be a MOT fail?.

If the throttle operates properly then it'll probably be ok, although such a bodge may irk a less than generous tester and cause him to scrutinise (i.e. fail) the rest of the bike meticulously. As per your link, a new housing is next to nothing to buy, so why not change it?

I was thinking of getting the MOT done soon, and it may take up to a week for that item to arrive, Plus it's for a 94 model, mine is a 2000, Would that make a difference?, If not i'll just buy it and change it out
