I see M&P are doing 120/70 & 180/55 pairs for 130 squid.

Are they any good? On a ZX9R.

Tyre preference, I like Roadsmarts and Diablos.

They are cheap because no one buys them.

If you like road smarts then you'll hate the road attacks. The rear squared off on my Fazer after no more than 5k miles.

I've got the front road attack still on and it is so twitchy in the wet.

I've got my KD down on them but I certainly wouldn't use them ever again.

Much prefer 023's.

They don't seem very popular on here. I had them a while back and they were ok for me.
They have a very flat/shallow shape to the tyre which means they don't seem to tip in as easily as some other tyres but seemed to grip ok when they were tipped in.
On the plus side because of the shallow profile you can get rid of all your chicken strips really easily which makes you look awesome and when a thread comes up on here you can post pictures and everybody will think you are super cool Smile

Seems like a good price for them I wouldn't pay too much though as there are plenty of better tyres about.
I had them on a FZR4 which is probably quite different to a ZX9R.

I had them on the speed triple, never had much confidence in them, changed to road smarts, much much better.

I had a set of them... personally, I was noob at the time and they were perfect, I never slipped on them.

Wear rate was alright I guess, nothing overly lasting but they did last me 6k on an FZR600.

Fitted a 160 to the rear of my GT125 before it was sold, still on the same tyre 2 years later Laughing

Angel ST if you can get them cheap enough Wink

They were brilliant on my BMW R1100RS, more touring tyres methinks. ZZR has a pair on it too, but not ridden it yet!! Confused

I had them on my BROS 400, were brilliant, much better than bt45's in my opinion. Don't think they fare too well on more powerful bikes though.
