I think the sign saying Paul Ricard circuit in the background is a bit of a giveaway.

Hi

From the race numbers I think it is 1976. With James Hunt and Niki Lauda on the front row. That makes it Brazil, South Africa, Spain (although Tyrell number 4 should be a 6 wheeler at that race), France, GB and Germany

Given the uniforms of the coppers I suspect it is the French GP, in which case it is Paul Ricard, and the rest of the grid supports that.

All the best

Keith

The tyrrells are the 6 wheelers (P34) I think, #4 in 4th place and #3 in 9th place cutting to it's left..

don't know who #4 would have been but #3 would be Jody Scheckter, and it'd have to be 1976 as the p34s only ran in that year?

#4 would be Patrick Depailler, who finished second in that race, after Hunt and ahead of Watson in the Penske.

Hi

No. 4 could well be a six wheeler (and should be in France). While the size of the front wheels looks small enough to be those from the 6 wheeler I can't make out whether there are 4 front wheels.

All the best

Keith

They are P34s, both of them.

Nope

Scheckter went to the newly formed Wolf team in 1977 (and gave them a maiden win) so it was Peterson and Depailler in the P34Bs.
