 |
|
Hi
It appears that riding has spilled over into the non-riding areas of my life:
When walking in Westfield, I inadvertantly slow down my pace when I see yellow box-signs, fearing 'speed cameras';
Perform life savers when 'filtering' through crowds and changing 'lanes'...
Anyone else notice similar/same habits in their daily activities? ____________________ Kwak 636 (2005)

If you're doing life savers when filtering, you're filtering too slowly . |

I constantly do life-savers when on foot. And its done it's job on and off the bike several times.
Otherwise, no.
It's taking over my bank account though. |

No, but life is taking over my riding at the moment. I haven't gone for a ride in ages. |

It's when I try to filter in the car that I have to do a little stop. I don't use the car as much as I use the bike, so when I do it's a bit of an adjustment
*comes in behind line of traffic*
'Pff! Fiiiiilteerrr ahoy!'
*starts to move out*
'Wait... what? CAR! CAR!'
*sheepishly moves back in and pretends she was just avoiding a pothole*
'Ho-hum. Nothing to see here. Damn cars.' ____________________ 'Just erotic. Nothing kinky. It's the difference between using a feather and using a chicken.'

I've actually stopped for a red traffic light before whilst walking back to college on my dinner hour. Came to a complete stop, realised my mates hadn't and it quickly clicked that I'd been a monumental cock.
I also do lifesavers walking and "plan ahead" while walking, see who's gonna turn and who's likely to swerve out. Those bastard pedestrians never indicate! ____________________ 57 Huoniao HN125-8 - , 97 Kawasaki GPZ500S -
