Hi
Ok the VFR has been sat arond for a 2 months, anyway and the last time I started it it ran fine. But now it dosnt.

The starter motor spins round, but the engine dont go, a litle bit of air is being pushed out at the zorst but not much.

There is very little petrol in it? I dont know if that would cause it, im curfuffled Question .

Luke

Hi

Could be that the fuel in the carbs has evaporated and it is taking a while for it to come through again. If the fuel tap has a "prime" position use that. However fresh fuel could well be worthwhile if there is only a bit in there and it is a bit old. Also give the battery a charge to make sure it is healthy.

All the best

Keith

Hi

If it is pulsing some air out of the exhaust then the starter is engaging. Could it just be that the bike normally starts fairly quickly so you have not noticed how quickly the starter can turn it over? Either that of you too the spark plugs out to store the bike Laughing .

All the best

Keith
