being a "fair weather rider" and with the unusually hot weather we have had recently, I took to a ride to our local coastline "crosby beach, mersesyside" It is a ride wich takes about 30 minutes from my home. It being so hot, I set off wearing just a shirt and jeans and "flipflops" Smile I thought I was being dangerous; that was until I seen several other bikers , a couple In shorts !

But, I do love riding my little 50cc and I am amazed that it can reach near 50 mph! I am going to head off to work this morning on my bike "leave the car" weather is dry "ish" tepms 63f here on merseyside. I have been caught out in a heavy downpour and It was horrific. I do not want to come off my bike ! but I love riding.

Haha, on Saturday I was riding in shorts and tee - but it was really really hot and so I wasn't thinking about my skin should I come off. It's very refreshing doing so actually.

Wow, and here is me riding 2 miles to the gym wearing trainers, kevlar jeans and fully armoured jacket, the whole time worrying about the state my ankles will be in if i come off.
