Hi Steve and welcome.

You're gonna get asked the usual questions.....what bike you're riding, if tests passed, how much experience etc.....

I am riding a Honda CG125(2001 YREG) its a great bike my C.B.T is running out in July of next year, so I will be doing my on-line theory in Jan and my Mod 1 & 2. I have been advised to leave a good ten days between the mod1 and mod 2. If I pass any advice on what 250 I should get?

None of them.

License changes are about to put a big hole in 250cc prices so you'd be better off buying say, a 500, or a 650, and restricting it. Or not...
