Hi, my indicators on my 50cc Suzuki Katana AY 50 won't blink.

It all started off when the regulator / rectifier blew and stopped all the lights from working, I then bought a new regulator / rectifier and then all the lights started to work again but the indicators didn't blink.

So I then found the Flasher Unit and bought a new one and still they don't blink.
I even went out to buy a new battery and that still hasn't fixed the problem.

What else could it be?
I have no idea.

Cheers.

Are all the bulbs working? And is any of the wiring from the indicators damaged?

Do any of the indicator bulbs or the tell tale light up? I assume that you checked the fuse?

Do the bulbs light up and stay lit or do they not light up at all?

Ok they are now fixed.

I found out the bulbs I got sold were some cheap ones from China or something, so I bought some better ones and now they are working.

Probably nothing to do with the cheapness, probably to do with the rating of the bulbs. They need to draw a certain amount to trigger the flasher unit into flashing.
