I have been having an ongoing problem with my Suzuki 125 Marauder, start up the bike, runs fine, rev it, and it dies. After a while I realised this is because there is something blocking the carburator, water, and slime. So I took it to the garage and they cleaned it out with a jet for £70 everything was fine but now it is happening again. I belive the problem to be water leaking in from the petrol cap at the top of the tank, I was suggested by a biker friend to get something to block it, like some sort of rubber, might I have to replace the whole cap? and can I add something, does it sound like this is the cause? where can i get the parts to fix it? I have been looking for a while with no luck.
