It was piss easy when i did it a few months ago.

I was worried before it but it was easy. I don't what the hype was all about, people having 20+ lessons is mad. I stalled twice on a hill in my test and didn't get any minors because I did the right thing afterwards.

I had a pupil who had over 300hrs and another only 10hrs. It depends on the person, but it is people like yourself who put so much pressure on others that they feel a failure if they have more that X amount of lessons or don't pass first time. It is silly to put a number on it other than advise of the average, but express it is the individual that matters and getting things right..

By the way I only had two hours worth of lessons for my bike test and eight hours for the car test, passed both first time with only 1 minor for each.

A big Thumbs Up to th OP though.

300 hours! That is insane though. That is £6k at £20ph

Everyone I spoke to though, including the instructor told me it was difficult but it was about 10-15 mins driving round town.

It's people like you that have ruined this once great nation by telling useless spackers that they're unique snowflakes whose feelings shouldn't be hurt by nasty people pointing out the bleedin' obvious.

Thumbs Up to the OP though. Razz

He had two degrees, one in business and one in some sort of maths thing.
As long as he was paying and wanted to try I was there for him. Unless you have been in a vehicle with someone like him you will never understand why the roads are how they are. It became more of a social thing for him, some people go playing golf, he went for a lesson. Made me look fear in the eye and laugh.

I did about 20 lessons and failed 2 times, did an intensive course day after passing bike test, passed the test at the end of the week.

I had spent a year (well 6 months on the actual road albeit with Ls) on the bike and learnt a fair amount from that.

I would HATE to do my driving test again Laughing

Oh and well done Jenks Thumbs Up

Well done Mister Jenkins.

When I passed my test 2 months ago, I went out and buyed myself a Honda Civic and poured all my money into that instead of the bike. I soon realised the practicalities of having a sound system on wheels and a roof on the head when it was chucking it down. When you have the flexibility of two forms of transport, it is win!

That said, should anybody have to resit their license due to totting up, I would certainly redo my car test instead of my bike test to get my entitlements back! (I passed 2nd time of asking with 0 minors... my first test I failed back in 2005... when I was too distracted by hooning about on 2 wheels at uni... and pretty glad I didn't have the option of car or bike because it made it more fun)
