Hi,

A friend of mine has just bought a 1990 suzuki gsxr750 L. does anybody know how big the radiator should be?? because its got a little tiny thing at the mo...and hes concerned its the wrong one.

Wasn't it still an oil/air cooled lunp in '90? If so then it will just be a small oil cooler.

yeah we know that much mate, but the radiator brackets look really "suss", he thinks a diferent one has been bodged on

I would reckon your best bet will be posting on www.gixxer.com with a photo of it.

Have you tried searching for a workshop manual online?

That may be your best bet. Or just have a lookand see if you can spot it on any pictures. bikepics.com maybe?

Hi

Not sure. Dean is probably the best person to ask as it should be about the same size as his Slingshot GSXR750.

For comparison the 1200 Bandit one is about 10" x 7".

Suzuki oil coolers are hideously expensive (think a replacement one for the Bandit is around £450) so it is quite likely that if it got damaged someone would replace it with a non standard one.
