Looks like an Alien...

https://www.ashonbikes.com/content/kawasaki-zzr1400-2012

I found the picture of the dash funny seeing as it shows 'outside temp' Laughing

Should be good though

This bike will be responsible for a lot of deaths.

And more near-misses which will lead to understanding the importance of life and creation of babies 9 months later.

Basically the ZZR1400 2012 will keep the world in balance! Bless the little Ninja.

So their answer to creating more power is to simply increase capacity?

There's no replacement for displacement.

Making the engine bigger is the one tuning measure that is absolutely certain to make your vehicle go faster.

You know, when the Hyabusa was launched, I was un-buzzed by it.
First one I spotted out of captivity was at Matlock, circa early '98, and my conclusion was it looked like an ugly dolphin and had a name like a sneeze.

But it was only the press raving about the fact that it was named after a hawk that preyed on 'Black-Birds' that made me take note of the CBR1100RR!

I have to admit that they possibly took the 'Stealth-Bomber' inspiration just a little too far on that one.... were it NOT for the Hyabusa it would have gone completely over MY radar!

Curiously I admire the ZZR11, and it was, MY kind of bike. It made little pretense to cutting edge handling, and shunned the trend into ever sharper more focused race replicas; and was a bike before its time.

This little monstrosity, would seem rather like, Kawasaki having a little fun..... it looks like a parody of dolphin friendly stealth bomber and transformer toys, blended perfectly to take the proverbial!

Add on Edd: I have to admit, back in 1982, mate with a Z1000 had a then, brand new BMW K100 on approval for a week. The 'brick' as the press affectionately nick-named it, due to the rectiliniar styling theme was carried as far as the four spoke wheels and a square section exhaust silencer, which I decried at the time as probably the most UGLY muffler ever to grace a production motorcycle. I have to admit that every-one seems to have been vying very hard to surpass that standard set by 'The Brick' thirty years agoi, recentlky, but THIS one..... THIS one might just conclusively 'take it'!

Always thought the existing model is very ugly (though not quite as ugly as the Busa). This restyled version actually looks pretty good!

Nice to see them pushing the engines of bigger bikes after a while of stagnation. Good for Bike Engined Cars too Smile.

Still want to see them bumping up the superbike class bikes to a bit too get some really silly power - make a nice 'special edition' that I reckon would do pretty well in limited quantities.

And chassis and suspension changes. Not to mention the back torque limiter.

I have never bought a new bike in my life and have stuck to older bikes as a preference and the occasional 2-3 year old one but I am seriously considering one of these.

emissions control and volume limits, wouldn't pass an approval test with an akra.

Cheers
