My money is on Syria, but I'm not convinced it will happen. Iran would be a bit too big to deal with I think, especially as they may have nukes.

I would have thought we have enough on our plates, but I thought that before we provided support in Libya.

It's a funny situation as when we backed ruthless dictators, we could have been thought to be harming human rights in those countries just to ensure stability and our long term strategic interests.

We install weak democracies and exclude anti-westerners, and you end up with chaos, more killings than before, and possibilities of countries turning into failed states.

Arguably we should stop interfering in other countries, but if we don't someone else will.

While America and Russia have been doing this neo-colonialism for years, China is starting to get involved too now, to get access to resources particularly in africa. China is doing deals like we build up your infrastructure and you give us resources like iron ore or whatever, but they may move to taking more control of countries too.

They wish.

You missed Algeria off the list. It's errant misbehaviour in not thoroughly supporting NATO operations in Libya clearly shows it's a non-compliant rogue state, that needs a taste of Freedom and Democracy.

Our wonderful allies of Al Quaeda will no doubt oblige no matter where the target is. Let's hope they didn't send any of Mr G's many missing MANPADS over to their mates at Finnsbury Mosque. They'd make a mess to anything large on finals at Heathrow, assuming they can point them the right way round without blowing their head off or frying their mate behind them.

Never mind, it'll give the airport security a good excuse to fondle your Mrs tits, and feel your bollocks, can't have descrimination against our freedom loving beardie types can we.

Allahu Akbar an all that shit.

Yeah...exactly this... Rolling Eyes

The excuse for ridding countries of dictators is wearing a bit thin, especially as noone is doing a damn thing about Mugabe... if he was sitting on oil, 'we' would be all over him like a rash, rather than sweeping his dictatorship under the proverbial carpet... Thumbs Down

Iran has nukes yet,if they do it would only be one or two but they are quite good at medium range missiles that could reach Israel.

You forgot Russia. The Shanghai Co-operation Organisation isn't just China. The long term goal is the encirclement and denial of influence and resources to both.

Israel has a far larger number of nuclear toys (200+ warheads?), so I don't think any Persian ruler would be that keen to see his entire country achieve thermonuclear martyrdom just to try his hand at Tel Aviv. They might be good at playing crazy, but they're not as stupid as western propaganda makes out.

I've voted for Iran.. Whether they will be next or not is the question.. But I reckon they're the end game.. If Iran goes ahead things will have to properly change.. Like ww3 kind of change I think..

P.s why is Uganda on the list? I doubt they will feel the gentle force of Western liberation, especially considering the US have some, shall we say, 'special advisors' there to help the Government with the 'rebels'. Oh suprise suprise.. There is some oil involved!

It wasn't just the Dinar that was the problem with Qaddafi. He was going to subvert the IMF and World Bank by using the multiple billions he had stashed away (the ones the west has frozen and will likely steal) to loan African nations money for investment in internal infrastructure, without the IMF crippling interest rates or draconian asset stripping policies. The threat of a real developing Africa instead of a subservient slave continent you can rape at will was just too much for Rockefeller et al. He'd have put that sanctimonious fucker Bono out of job too. Kill his family and rape his corpse as a Samhain tribute, a far better idea.

And before that, accepting Euros for oil was the last decision Saddam made.

It's good for roasting chickens innit? Wrap yourself in it and if the worst happens and there's a good old nuclear conflagration, it might stop the skin from burning while cooking the flesh a treat, resulting in a better quality meal for the survivors. Nigella could do a program on it, probably involving some fancy herbs you don't have, meaning a pre-apocalypse 4 minute dash to Sainsburys. Razz

Cameron and Sarko were lead players in the Libyan operation. NATO is a multi-national operation of criminals. The US is just the major muscle.

For the next so called "liberation" I believe it is going to be somewhere in the middle east of course, just because the so called supers like to have a controlling point from all over the world.

The only main threats considered in the world at the moment is North Korea or Iran. North korea is a ticking time bomb on when that churns out next idiotic leader. Iran is too threatening to the world as they could easily get sleeper agents into any country they wanted without any trouble.

However this has got me thinking that the main place that is going to be targeted next will either be Somalia, Sudan or Columbia.

Out of your list Egypt is already sorted no real threat there, Syria, Yemen and Uganda are all small fish. The only real threat is either Iran which they won't go for or Somalia.

Cameron has already decided to issue soldiers onto British ships heading into Somali waters, only needs to be one bad attack and then he will get war thirsty again.
