I've been on a few and found them to be a very oppinionated lot on most of them. More from the safety nazi/IAM way is the only way standpoint. Certain specific bits of tech adivce are ok but others are on the ropy side.

I have £40 worth of useless bearings in my shed bought on the basis of advice off one forum (where they gave a list of bearing numbers for the swingarm of my 750, they got about half of them right). There again, they were bang on the money with my firestorm front end conversion.

Most of them don't know about the second warpdrive powerband fitted to VFRs which kicks in at 10k rpm which says a lot about how they use their bikes to me.
