Right now I am rebuilding my mates CLR125, to ride over the winter.
Most of the roads will be ungritted, 13miles of snow ice and fun.
I was thinking of getting a set of off road tyres for it.
If this doesn't work out what bike would you suggest?
I don't have my license back yet so stuck on 125.
Route to work:

I have been told that last year, most of the road was covered in roughly 2ft of snow. And they had to use a tractor to get them into work. |

Off road tyres are absolutely deadly on ice, worse than normal ones. Not so bad on snow.
If it's that sort of road, you'd be better off with normal tyres and snow cleats. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
