I think its him 2 i there was a program on bbc 2 right car wrong or something like that and this DJ was buying a farrari and hills gave him some driving tips look very similar to the way the stig does.

I don't think it is to be honest with you. I know someone whose met him before and all they said that he was a funny bloke (always joking about), didn't mention he was Damon Hill. I'll try find out this week if no one else manages to.........

Alexander Wurtz..being Mclaren test driver means he's in the Uk alot, doing hardly anything.

It could be Nigel Mansell but V unlikely...Nigel has gotten BIG. The Stig is a Twig. Errr....Jason Plato? or Ironically it could be Tiff Nedell. Laughing

Just found a rumour on the web that says that the Stig is Nicholas Minassian.
There was no reason for this but it does fit in with what I previously heard about it being a French man.

Top gear mag' had a thing about him a littloe while ago which said he was a highly rated french racing driver. Nicholas Minassian fits the bill so is a possible!

I just read that as well, another one is "Kelvin Burt. Who are hear you shout. He is the guy who drives the formula one pace car! Well he does at most of the european rounds". Just found that on the net, apparently he drives the AMG Merc, same or similar car to Clarkson's.

i heard that it could be tiff needel, and thats why they cover his face. there was an old rally driver called stig blomqvist (don't know if that is spelt right), but i think he is too old and too big!

i think it might be damon, becuase him and clarkson are good friends, and it cannot be anyone who does racing at the moment, because they couldn't film it if he was in a race!!

I read somewhere that there's a Stig 1 and a Stig 2? Did they have the Stig on a previous series or anything? Stig 1 has been confirmed as Perry.

Its a show about cars and all this secrecy about a bloke that swings a few cars around a track is a bit gay if you ask me!

I always thought it was tiff. Would have explained the 'cover up' as he is licenced to channel 5.

As far as I know, there is only one stig though.
