Laughing @ Ste

One thing that slightly annoys me is the fact that you can't see the message you are replying to when replying to a pm, unless you click quote.

Could the previous message, or even a history of messages of the same name, be displayed under the text area, much like a thread history is displayed under the reply box?

I was going to say scrap the karma system completely but I think the best idea would be to put it back to how it was when it first started to you can give each other karma and not so it bans you from posting for silly reasons, what everybody seems to be forgetting is this is nothing more than a place to chat about bikes, its not school.

I agree with Kev. While having the spell check etc is useful, it is just a place to chat. Being able to send and receive Karma with a reason would be good, like it was originally. Smile

Personally I would move in the dirrection of rewarding good practices but not punishing bad. For example positive karma but not neg Question

Hmm. But it could be said that without bad there is no good.

Karma sometimes puts me off posting, i know it may sound silly, but i don't want to lose my 2 blobs. And just as i previewed this message it told me my Karma would suffer Laughing , good example.

Possibly because most of the regulars sit in IRC and chat there rather than on the forum.

I know this happened before but the new karma system encourages it further, especially the 'off topic' rating.

Learner or 50/125 forum. We get a lot of them, they get a lot of abuse from me and ste , it also makes a lot of dross in general chat.

Ditto Smile I'd like to know who the 125's are on these boards too. So my personal suggestion is to have a bike owned bit, by the name/avatar etc. Maybe a location bt around that area would be a good idea to?!

cheers MR K!

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 20 years, 15 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
