ive got a derbi gpr50 09plate and the starter motor seems to work but is not turning the engine over atall, does anybody know whats up?? Confused

If the starter motor is turning, then it should turn your engine, has your engine seized up?
Do you have compression?
How are you sure the starter motor is working?
let me know what it sounds like and what is happening with the engine, are you getting it to turn over?
