Hi,

First post and am very new to biking so please forgive the (probably) stupid question.

My tail light is no longer working on my bandit, brake lights work fine, just the tail light.

Im thinking the obvious and that the bulb has died, however have a couple of questions was hoping people could help with.

Is the tail light bulb seperate from the brake light bulbs? (again apologies if this is a stupid question)

Can anyone reccomend a good place or website to buy replacment bulbs from?

If the bulb hasnt blown can anyone let me know what else it could be?

Really appreciate any help given,

Many thanks

It's probably a normal 21w/5w so any motor factors

Correct, it is a twin filament 21/5 bulb on the gen1 Bandits, remove the seat and centre portion of the rear cowl to make getting to the bulb holder easy.

Thanks very much guys, I'm guessing as the brakelights work fine it's going to be the wiring.

Time to bring out the Haynes manual and electrocute myself

Chill..chances are it's just the bulb.

It is 2 bulbs in one, the most probable thing is that the 5w fillament has blown because it is on all the time and changing the bulb will be the end of the problem. A local motorfactor will probaly charge about 50p for one of these Thumbs Up
