Hi, I have a cbf500 '05 and as I will be using throughout the winter bought a couple of U7 Cree led spotlights, they look great but there is no installation instructions so a bit stuck. They also come with a switch unit.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Why the need for spotlights? I really don't get the appeal...

Reds and blacks on each spot go together.
Live from battery to a relay which in turn is joined to the switch live from ignition (instructions come with the relay - cheap as chips)
Live from relay to the switch
Other wire from the switch to the red on spots
Black from spots to a good earth point on the frame.

Fitting wise - I went with strong cable ties onto the forks as they get taken off in summer.

Cos if you have an adventure type bike, say an S1000XR, and put engine bars and spotlights on it, you look like you've ridden around the world and are a hard bastard. Laughing Laughing
