Hi there, Help is much appreciated

i have a 54 aerox but it has an 07 engine in the bike, i have put a new cylinder and piston in recently and changed all liquids in the bike from all oils petrol and coolents etc. this bike has been well maintained and i have serviced and look after it. i have a problem, i rode it to my sixth form and it was running fine but 7 hours later and got it read to warm up but it wont start, it was tickening over and i could hear it trying to start but it just wasnt starting. so when i finally got home after pushing it about 7 mile in a suit, i stripped all plastics and checked the spark plug there was plenty of oil but no petrol. so i put a bit of petrol on the spark plug and it started but then conked out, so this then lead me to believe there is a block in the carb, and its not letting petrol in. so i took the carb of and there was loads of coolant in the carb dripping out of it, and there was loads. the coolant has come from the two pipes from the cylinder head which connect to the carb. i have checked the engine oil that looks fine soo thinking it might not be head gasket but now im not sure what it is. any help please

sorry about the essay but i thought the more information the better Smile

It sounds like a burst water pipe to me, as the carb was filled with coolant.
Give it a good clean out and check your pipes and joints, especially around the carb.

as far as I remember there should be NO lines going from carb to cylinder head... I think there is only vacuum line and fuel... possibly and oil line too...
