I don't believe it!

I ride on the A23 every morning and evening on my commute to and from work and there is a section of bus lane on the A23 that is open to Solo Motorcyclists and has been for over 12 months now.

So.. in the post this morning, what did I get? A sodding £100 Penalty Notice for riding in a Bus Lane where I am legally allowed to!

Do those monkeys at TFL really not know what they are doing.

Signed annoyed of London!

I wonder if I can get away with a claim against them for 1 x phone call, 1 x stamp & stationary and half an hour of my time wasted writing a letter to them.

Yep, two little pics on the back of the letter.

Bizarrely enough, if it was day light and the pics were a little bigger, you would be able to see the sign that says 'Solo Motorcycles use of bus lane'!

Ian, the part that is available to bike riders stretches from Streatham Bus Garage to just north of Brixton.

I got 'done' heading south on Streatham High Road. I had a look for a camera this morning but couldn't see one there so I assume it must have been one of the on-board cameras - w****rs!

Hmmm ! I ride around there most days ! Never noticed these signs as I always use the outside lanes, I will have a look to see if I can see any hidden snappers.

You can't miss 'em.

There are signs saying 'Solo Motorcycles use of bus lanes experiment' and also the blue bus lane signs have little motorcycles on them.. aaahhh! Laughing

OK, took a ride out to Streatham to have a look for the motorcycle logo on the signs, and your right, they are there, I'd say you got a good chance of getting that PCN wiped out.
