For those who don't already know you can get free "Think Bike: Think Biker" stickers from the DfT.

Linky here https://shop.dft.gov.uk/thinkshop/product.aspx?ProductID=04cc108e-573c-43b8-bb46-21b1d27294d8

One per address it looks like.

But its free and it helps raise awareness Smile

Very Happy mine arrived a couple of days ago! Now I just have to 'borrow' my step-dad's car keys for a few minutes...

The other thing I was thinking was "oh god I hope he doesn't do something daft and not notice a biker" and "please don't be in some accident involving a biker while that sticker is on the car.." He's quite a careful driver though, so I don't think that would happen. Plus I remind people often enough!

Not sure it does, really. If a driver isn't looking out for a great hunk of metal with a soft squashy person on top already, I don't have much faith that they'll even read your sticker, let alone think what it means and alter their driving appropriately.

Let's be honest. Think Bike stickers are put on cars by bikers cos they want other bikers to realise they're not just an average 'cager'. They're just a bit less sad than a 'my other ride is an r1' decal slapped on the back of your mondeo.

Start ordering 'em for your neighbours. Have one turn on everyone's doorstep. People might be aware of bikers then!

Any biker stuck behind my wife's car is going to be sadly disappointed if they think she's noticed them... :p

There's a massive difference between being aware of something and actually giving a shit about it. Karma

Quite possibly the most insightful post I've read on here this year.
