Best bulbs ?

Well kind of a stupid question but still worth an ask to be sure, is there any difference between bulbs for say indicators/rear light.

Only asking as I realized when I got home that my brake light has gone, must of gone on the way home, haven't got one here to replace it either.

Going out early in morning to avoid traffic, to Halfords but just wondered is their a certain bulb that would be best for the idicators/ rear light going get them all at the same time save meeting this problem again.

I'm assuming bike bulbs are near enough identical to car bulbs in that the indicators will most likely be single filament 12v/5w and the brake light will be dual filament 12v 5/21w or something like that.

Not had to change any bulbs on the bike for a few years.
