For the love of the lord check that ALL lights are working, my brake light decided not to work today (loose bullet connector) so I'am down 58 quid and he said I was doing fine as far as the test was concerned!

First attempt the indicators were faulty (dirty connection) which more or less cost me the test so you'd have thought I'd learned my lesson lol

Not to cause offence or anything, but it sounds like you need to get that bike sorted out Laughing

The last thing you want is to be rear-ended by a cager who hasn't noticed you're slowing down, or someone pulling out at you at a roundabout because they've not seen your indicator Thumbs Up

Both issues were sorted out in a matter of minutes, but if I had taken the time to double check everything then they could have been minutes before the test rather than minutes after!

Just hoping nobody else makes the same dumbassed mistake haha

My brake light isn't working when activated by my front brake at the moment. My new switch arrived yesterday so I'll be putting that one while I have the day off work - hopefully this is the cause, as it was the last time.

Also when I took my Mod 2 the second time my right indicator decided not to work. It's really intermittent at the moment, some times it'll work, other times it won't, a quick tap on the light and it's fine again, not sure what the issue is with it.

I agree though, make sure everything is working as it should be before you go to your Mod 2 - then check again while you're outside. On my second attempt the Examiner pulled me over to ask if I was indicator on my right turns - then he explained it wasn't working. Quick tap and it was working again, but stopped almost immediately when we got to another right turn. At that point he called it a day.
